Jim Kitson

Jim was born in Newport, South Wales but has lived in the North East for most of his life. Jim has worked extensively in theatre, spending eight years with the Northern Stage in Newcastle, before going on to work with the RSC, Shakespeare's Globe, The National Theatre, The Royal Exchange, Hull Truck, Live Theatre, Soho Theatre, Derby Theatre and the Trafalgar Studios. 


Television work includes: King Gary S2, Inspector George Gently, Tracey Beaker and Byker Grove for the BBC and Emmerdale and Vera for ITV.

 

 Jim is also a talented singer, musician and composer. He has worked as a Musical Director for Northern Stage, NTC touring theatre and Live theatre (where he was Musical Director on the original West End production of Cooking With Elvis.)
