DONNCHA TYNAN

​

Donncha graduated from Bow Street Academy (Ireland’s prestigious National Screen Acting School) at the end of 2021.

He quickly secured his first professional Television role playing regular character “Dan Murphy” in the second season of the IFTA-winning KIN (BRON Studios/RTE) alongside Aidan Gillen and Charlie Cox before going on to book the strong supporting role, “Eamon” in Marianne Quinn’s new feature film TWIG (Blue Ink Films/Janey Pictures) alongside BrÍan F. O’Byrne (Little Boy Blue) and Sade Malone (Pistol). TWIG opened the Dublin International Film Festival in 2024.

 

Upcoming roles include Lynn Ruane’s READY OR NOT, a Dublin City coming of age movie due for release at the end of this year where he stars alongside Lewis Brophy and a Supporting Lead role in new Psychological Thriller, ABOVE AND BELOW alongside Antonio Banderas, due for realease in 2026. 

Outside of acting, Donncha is a keen sportsman and musician.
