CALLINA LIANG
Callina was born in Canada before moving to Australia and Singapore and now residing between Toronto and London. She holds a Diploma in Performance from the LASALLE College of Arts and was named a ‘Top of the World’ recipient for IGCSE Drama 2016.
During her training, Callina has taken on various stage roles to include: THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE CHERRY (devised comedy); LOVE, LIES, TRICKS (Storytelling); IN BETWEEN SOMEWHERE AND NOWHERE (Physical Theatre) and the role of Ismene in THIS TOO SHALL PASS. She has also played leading roles in various short films for the NTU School of ADM, to include: CODA; SHE IS YOUR...?; BLIND DATE; LIMINAL.
Television credits include a series regular on ITVX's TELL ME EVERYTHING (from the makers of Top Boy and Skins) and a guest star on Skydance TV/Apple TV+'s FOUNDATION.
Callina will next be seen as the lead in Steven Soderbergh's PRESENCE opposite Lucy Liu and Chris Sullivan, which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Later this year, she will also star as the lead in Picturestart's BAD GENIUS, opposite Benedict Wong and Jabari Banks.
