Callina Liang


Callina, 19, was born in Canada before moving to Australia and Singapore and now residing between New York City and London. She holds a Diploma in Performance from the LASALLE College of Arts and was named a ‘Top of the World’ recipient for IGCSE Drama 2016.

She regularly attends acting classes and extended courses in New York to include the Stella Adler School of Acting and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. She is also a student at The New School, where she is studying for a BFA in Drama.
During her training, Callina has taken on various stage roles to include: THE CHERRY ON TOP OF THE CHERRY (Devised Comedy); LOVE, LIES, TRICKS (Storytelling); IN BETWEEN SOMEWHERE AND NOWHERE (Physical Theatre) and the role of Ismene in THIS TOO SHALL PASS. She has also played leading roles in various short films for the NTU School of ADM, to include: CODA; SHE IS YOUR...?; BLIND DATE; LIMINAL.

Callina has gained a basic level of ballet, having trained for a year and appeared in ROMEO AND JULIET (Stuttgart Ballet) and SWAN LAKE (American Ballet Theatre). She also sings (soprano) and plays the piano to grade 5.

Outside of music and dance, Callina also loves her sport, she is a keen runner and has trained in martial arts (Silat and Wushu) for the last 2 years.

Callina is a Canadian passport holder and fluent Mandarin speaker.
