ATANA MOTAVALI

 

Atana is a British-Iranian actor with a BA in Acting from the Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts (LIPA), founded by Sir Paul McCartney. 

Theatre Credits whilst training include: Maddy/Detective Cram in GREAT BRITAIN; Gilgamesh in GILGAMESH; Mother Courage in MOTHER COURAGE AND HER CHILDREN and MACHINAL.

Iranian credits include: TOOSHEH INTERNET CHALLENGE and TOOSHEH DISCONNECTED (both aired on the popular TV channel MANOTO). 

Atana is a fluent Farsi speaker and cares deeply about the issues currently facing Iran. She bought the audiences to their feet with a closing speech dedicated to raising awareness after her performance of MACHINAL, a play about a woman’s fight for freedom 

Outside of acting, Atana finds joy in baking, writing spoken word poetry, and creating humorous content for her TikTok account.
