Shane Quigley Murphy
Shane is from Dublin, Ireland and completed his training at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. He won a Laurence Olivier bursary in conjunction with The Behrens Foundation in London and later went on to win a Dewar Arts Award.
Credits (whilst training) include: Circle of Fifths, Frankie and Johnny in The Clair De Lune, Le Dama Del Alba, The Hypochondriac, As You Like It, Kidnapped and Dick McWhittington.
Professional theatre credits include: Macbeth/Midsummer Night's Dream (Rose Theatre, Blenheim), Beauty & The Beast (Mill Theatre), Macbeth (Mill Theatre), Titus Andronicus (Dundee Rep), The Love of the Nightingale (Dundee Rep), The Hamlet of Stepney Green (Project Arts Theatre), Edward II (Civic Theatre), Richard II (Civic Theatre), The Beauty Queen of Leenene (Mill Theatre), Brighton Beach Memoirs (Mill Theatre).
Film and TV credits include: Foundation (Apple TV+), Kin (BRON Studios/Octagon Films/Headline Pictures), Outlander (Starz), True Value (Lonelara Films), The Railway Children/Children of a Darker Dawn (October 11 studios), Immortalised (Angel Wings Films) and Lets Have A Threesome* (Breaking Point Flix) which awarded him a Best Acting Award at the Edinburgh 48 hour Film Festival.
Shane has also been working on Watch Dog Legions, a global video game franchise.
