Scott Haining

 

Scott recently appeared as 'Joe. B Mauldin' in the 25th anniversary tour of Buddy: the Buddy Holly Story (Rave On ltd).

 

Other theatre credits include: The leading role of ‘ Bobby' in the national tour of Dreamboats and Petticoats (Bill Kenwright Ltd), Buttons in Cinderella (Pete Rowe/Stafford Gatehouse) and Chris Biondo in Songbird (UK Tour).

 

Television credits include: Regular character 'Nate Gurney' in the BBC drama Waterloo Road; Doctors (BBC); Frankenstein's Wedding (BBC); My Parents Are Aliens (ITV Granada).

 

A keen musician, Scott has played the trumpet from a young age and now plays multiple instruments. Between acting roles, he teaches and directs drama and musical theatre at a children’s theatre school in his home town of Leeds.

Scott was recently seen in Mike Leigh's new feature film "Peterloo" and on the new Netflix series, "The Innocents". Early 2019 has seen him over in Belarus for filming on ENEMY LINES (Happy Hour Productions) with director Anders Banke. He stars alongside Ed Westwick, John Hannah and Tom Wisdom (release date TBC).
